These capsules are generally taken about three times a day. Cayenne pepper also comes in powdered form. You can mix the powdered form with water and drink it daily, or you can add a teaspoon or two of the powder to your daily meals. Of course, you can also buy the actual whole spices and consume them. If you think the spicy flavor will be much too powerful for you, then you might want to stick to the capsules and powder.
